So Guys, guess what I did?!?!

Warning, I sometimes ramble
I have found out that Mitsubishi has made us a great car for jumping This weekend I was going to a Youth retreat with my church (Leader) and my wife and I were running late. So I was speeding down roads. We almost get to the place when I see a railroad track crossing, I'm thinking to myself, all the tracks around here are usually flat. Boy was I wrong, I was doing 65ish over the railroad track, only to find out that it wasn't flat but it went up and then on the other side the road dipped down. So we ended up flying out of our seats and hitting the ceiling of the car with our heads. The car ended up nose diving a little though. After Landing I thought I just broke something, but everything was still running, no noises, no bad sounds or lights. I ended up driving the last mile to the place and looked under the car for damage. The only thing that hit was the hook in the front of the car

I will never do that again though, unless I'm in a car that I don't care about. And will be slowing down for every track haha. I left a nice gash in the road though.

I thought this thread would be more exciting; however, given the fact you were on your way to a church retreat, that jump was probably the most exciting thing that happened to you all weekend.

Just kidding. Well, sort of

Youth retreats aren't as boring as you think they would be, well not with me around I had the kids playing capture the flag, and running around in one of those giga-*****. I was going to have a prize for them to ride around in my car one day, but I'm not sure how well that would go over with parents haha.

Also Cranswick, did you ever smash the bottom at all when you jumped? I was freaking because I was afraid I would've nailed my exhaust, it seems to hang the lowest out of everything.

+1! I have way more fun now that I'm in church than I ever did when I wasn't!

no, i'm pretty sure the suspension bottomed, but nothing hit the road, it landed pretty level, i landed kinda sideways though that was a bit scary, so i won't do it again. and for the same reason i don't go off-road, i definately will be avoiding going airborne with the lowering springs.

My exhaust sits pretty high in the stock location, it's about even with the spare tire well.
