1. park somewhere (preferrably flat area)
2. jack your car up on the front just enough so both your front wheels are off the ground (use jackstands or bricks and wheelchocks or sumn for safety please...)
3. open hood and use prop rod
4. loosen strut nut from strut mount just enough so the nut is off the strut mount (the single nut inside the hose where the strut brace is, NOT the 3 or any of the 3 around it)
5. get some oil (engine oil or gearlube works best), fill the hole to the top
6. let it sit, it may take around 10-15 mins, its gonna just seep thru the bolt hole and lubricate all the bearings and rubber in the mount...you may get some oil on your strut on the bottom, its ok and normal...you also may need to come by every 5 mins or so and turn the wheel lock to lock a couple of times to help it seep thru
7. retighten strut bolt TIGHTLY, and properly, and lower your car
8. drive around not going crazy about your noise!

let us know if you did it and how it works for ya!
I agree with nekkidlad. mine was clicking last year and I replaced my strut mounts and all was good. I replaced my struts again this last summer and the noise came back. Been too lazy to remove the struts to fix it. I'm definitely going to try this tip from nekkidlad this weekend. Thanks!

Did you have to use an impact gun or were you ably to get that nut loose with hand tools?

My guess would be the springs. My car still makes all sorts of weird noises.

its his springs from lowering the car, i have no idea why it does it to the cars, but it does. and yes, im well aware this isnt the same model, but i have the same "clicking noise" at low speeds when turning the wheel. As well as several other members after lowering there respective vehicles.

you guys should try the lube procedure...
it wont hurt anything...it may just fix it tho...
and it only takes around 15-20 mins to do..(plus jacking up and down time...)

I gotta try this! I've been looking and looking at the threads for the 04 - 06 Ralliart looking to see if anyone else has had the same problem and this sounds to be the closest to mine. only thing is tho, i hear my noise mainly from the front passenger tire and it sounds like the spring is turning and snapping back into place.

I have the same noise after lowering my car on H&R springs. It is driving me insane. Its too damn cold here in Wisconsin now to worry about it so I will take care of it this spring. I only have 42k on the car so it cant be the strut mounts going bad already. Hopefully the oil trick will fix it.
