Pulled a couple codes off my 04 ralliart today. TPS low voltage and TPS low output. These are Accel. Pedal associated. Since it looks like the pot. on the Accel. Sensor has some adjustments on it (slotted holes). I'm wondering what this adjustment is for... And if I can turn it to take out the null zone in the throttle. I know you can do that with the 2 nuts near the wire...

I'm thinking this might alter the codes that it will throw since most likely the "bottom" of the pot. is probably worn.... And turning this piece would basically alter the starting point on the pot.

I just tried it, had the codes reset last night... So far no errors.

I also cleaned the contacts which could have solved the problems too.
