Need opinions on this CEL
I searched for a day now to make sure it hasn't been covered I didn't find anything.
I have an RRM CAI and port and polished intake manifold. CEL came on with a P0171 code. I searched but I wanted to check with you guys. I know alot of guys are running more then I am but not having any codes at all with no tune. I'm going to tighten everything down on the intake manifold again to make sure no vacuum leaks.
It's just I'm not having weird idling issues or poor gas consumption. No sound or signs of knocking. Could a faulty MAF sensor even cause a P0171 code?
I have the occasionsal 100rpm jump like from 700-800 just sitting there but that's rare. Like really rare. Sigh lol hopefully me tightening everything down and checking hoses tomorrow morning will work. Anyways I just wanted to check with everyone on here just for help or anything else I should check.

looking at the service manual, these may be suspect:
Mass airflow sensor failed.
Injector failed.
Incorrect fuel pressure.
Air drawn in from gaps in gasket, seals, etc.
Engine coolant temperature sensor failed.
Intake air temperature sensor failed.
Manifold absolute pressure sensor failed.
Barometric pressure sensor failed.
Exhaust leak.
Use of incorrect or contaminated fuel.
Harness damage in injector circuit or connector damage.
ECM failed. <M/T>
PCM failed. <A/T>
In terms of what you have had done, I would suspect MAP or MAF have gone bad, possibly injectors or anything located on the new intake manifold

Yeah before I cleaned the MAF lol I went to go start it and it was gone. I'm so confused but hopefully it won't come back up. It might have been something with my old 65mm TB I use to have? I drove it around just to see if it would come back on and it didn't. Then again I had the CEL from a year ago and it went to storage while I was deployed. Maybe the ECU bringing it back up and with my stock throttle body, it was getting use to it again? Lol idk
