Do I have to replace the clutch plates?

Hi guys,

I recently replaced my master cylinder of clutch due to leaking. When I test the clutch with engine off by simply step on the pedal, I heard the clutch is squelching. I talked to a friend in car store and asked him to check it. He told me I should replace the clutch plate some time later, if I want to keep the car for a while. My Ralliart is 2004 and about 98k miles. Do you think whether it's necessary. And how much it usually cost? Thank you very much!
