6 ring gear bolts, size?
Anyone know the size pitch etc. of our ring gear bolts. Mitsu doesn't carry them and I can't find them anywhere so I guess I'll have them made. Or it'd be easier searching with bolt specifications on hand. The six bolts that go through the PP and Flywheel

I have a picture. Hold on a sec
Edit:
Sorry it's blurry. Had to get a quick shot. But not the 7 flywheel bolts. Those six on the outside

uh, those bolts aren't suposed to come out...i don't even think there's a part number for those. the flywheel assembly is one part number. You'll need to measure and gauge the bolts that came out of it, but even if you bolt it back together it will no longer be balanced.

I have never seen a bolted on ring gear--not that they dont exist --Every ring gear I have seen are a heated press fit--thinking you buds may be mistaken. Tese hold the PP on right? if so take one down to a nut/bolt store-- or ace hardware--not a lot of choices 8, 10 or 12 mm in diameter and 1.25 or 1.50 pitch more then likely--these are very common sizes--dont sweat it youll find then. use grade 8 and youll be fine. the the flywheel ring gear is not bolted on, it's part of the friction surface/flywheel mass, and the pressure plate bolts to that....
the bolts in question hold the "tin back" (i don't know the proper name but it's just a piece of thick sheet metal) to the flywheel, and are not meant to be removed...i don't even know if there are shops that can balance them once that is removed, you'll have to call around.
