o sure...see him but not me...
...lol
i'm going too...
we're still trying to figure out what the sleeping arrangements will be tho...haha
the wife wants to take the camping car(mazda)...but doesnt wanna camp...
well she want to camp overnight...but not bring any of the camping supplies/necessities because according to her we won't be there at all during the day(plus camping is cheaper than a hotel...wether you camp in the pits or a campsite nearby)

LOL I meant around the Motel. I'll make a point to meet up with you at the show!

Unless you can talk your woman into staying at the Plantation Motel too. Get the small room its not too expensive and its right next to the lake!

They have one cheap room left which is $66.5 and then the step up from that which is the rooms with flatscreens, two beds, and wifi is $77 a night. But you can come bum my wifi if you want the cheap room lol.

Its also located here: 2815 Cleveland Rd E Huron, OH 44839. Which is about 23 minutes away from Wakeman, OH and 22 minutes away from Summit Motorsports Park.

if I end up going, it may not be in my car...

i'm so unbelievably upset right now...my ECU seemed to have **** the bed...i'm working with hackish to attempt a recovery, but I feel like it's not failed flash and it might have just died randomly.

I found a good price on another 06 ecu, but it's 2 hours away and the issue now is programming to match the vin so I can reflash it with my tune...even more convenient that my ECU stopped working 3 days before leaving for the shootout, hackish is in alberta until Friday...FML

Omg!!!! The suspense! Glad you got it up and running. Did you try reflashing it and it died.. Or did you just try and turn it over and it didn't go? Kinda concerning if it just died like that...

i'm not sure, think it lost communication on the tail end of a reflash...and got lost in limbo...i was unable to connect, the software could not detect the ecu, and the motor would just crank, but not fire...also after all that, with the key in the on position...you know how the throttle actuator/control motor normally goes "tick tick tick" and stops, after the "beep-beep, beep-beep"? well it would just click forever...all is well now.

Not sure if hackish knows yet what the cause was, and i hated to bother him while he's on vacation, but he sorted it out in just under an hour...maybe he'll fill me in when he figures it out, but at least it was good R&D for the company...

Man....I wish I could join everyone at the shootout, especially seeing Crans' ralliart! But I had to go backwards in the company I work for to make more money. (Does that even make sense haha) Sadly I work a weekend shift now

sure it makes sense*pull out phone starts calling whitecoats*
lol...

nah jk i know what u mean tho...
i know a lot of people like that...

for example: my buddy got promoted to being a parts manager(he was just a parts guy)...but now he make less money and has more responsibilities(because managers get paid different)
so he's like...hey this isn't worth it...(aside from the title of manager)...so he decides to "downgrade" posittion to his old position(just parts guy) and get more money and less responsibility(because he can work more hours, or do things managers just can't do because they're too busy doing other things, drive the parts truck and just lolligag and get paid extra because he's technically doing 2 jobs at once...etc)

yeah...i'm not bringing any spare parts, only tools...fuses are one thing i keep in the glove box, and i can swap out the AC or horn relay at anytime for more important things, like throttle actuator, fuel pump or MFI. but as far as mechanical parts, the spare parts i have are things that are very unlikely to fail...i can only hope for the best i guess. And if i need a hand with anything there will be no shortage of gear heads.

i'm bringing a 170 piece socket set, some metric combination wrenches, a few pliers, screw drivers, jack and stands, and a few other odds and ends...zip ties, electrical tape etc.
