Hey all! I am really thinking about making the trip to MOD this year, although I was wondering if I could expect to see any of the community here going... I know there's gonna be a ton of sick cars there but feel like my ralli would be a sheep in a wolves pen of EVO's. So this is basically a roll call of who might be going and what car you will be taking for some of you that have multiple ralliart's.

I will be in my 04 Ralliart sportback if scheduling pans out!

that's how I felt at the shootout...I was the only non-evo lancer competing...I knew the RA guys were just there to watch, but I sort of expected at least one other lancer, even a 4G94 lancer...but no, I was a lone wolf amongst a pack of more powerful wolves...lol

I feel that I may be the only Ralliart sportback to show.... It will be odd for sure because there's not alot done to my sportback but I like it. We'll see if anyone else feels the same way.

I made a long expensive trip to ohio already, I definitely won't be attending this...i'm more inclined to attend a racing/motorsport event than a car show...

 

I wont be attending! Also attended the shootout like crans this year. I am content for the year, especially on just car shows.

 

I haven't been to the Normal MOD in like 3 years. Just doesnt seem worth it to me for how far you drive vs what you actually do there. Plus don't want to get stuck on the side of the road again like I did a few years back.

 

Darn, I was really hoping to meet some of you guys. Especially the so very infamous few that have responded. Raikiri and cranswick in particular. Now that i actually have a worthwhile job where I am putting away money and have free time I feel like I have missed out on all the cool stuff in the past. Especially when this community seems to be slowly dying. My Classic Mustang community is generally a bunch of "it's gotta be stock or big block" geezers.

Where is it located usually? Or has a location been announced for next year yet? I may abandon these plans and get stuff done around the house in lieu of attending the shootout next year....

 

its hosted in wakeman ohio and at the summit racing motorsports park. Its a blast you should really come to that.

Hopefully next year we will see a few more faces from the RA community. Cranswick, Mike, Nekkid, and I had a blast this year! Im trying to keep my wedding date away from the Shootout date though. The Fiance keeps saying August and Im dancing around the subject that I dont want to have it near the 23rd because of the shootout lmao!!! Is that bad? hahaha
