Meet Blu...

2009 Eclipse GS Spyder 42K Miles, still under factory warranty. Got it for $5K under kbb value with a 4.14% APR...what was I supposed to do?

The 2G's are awesome, but I would prefer a better interest rate and a more late model car. Saving up for a project car, but I needed a good daily driver since I commute 70 miles/day.

I very much dislike the newer body style of the Spec-V and I was paying $30/day for my rental so I didn't have time to wait for a craigslist find worth paying for.

If I had my druthers () I would have gotten a GT Sportback or Ralliart Sportback, but they were both out of my price range.

Still N/A, Still 4G69, Still

...now to get rid of this WHEEL G A P

Looks good!!!! Glad to see your sticking with the 4G69! You gunna put those rims from the RA on this thing? They'd look good I think neochrome and blue look good together. Dont go disappearing into the depths of Club4g now. Remember its still an RA at heart! :P

not a fan..lol

to be honest for a daily commuter is would prefer a Honda civic...the 4g is heavy and does not pair well with the 4G69...

happy for you kapitol!
hope everything works out with you and your new "RA @ <3" baby.
i've read around about your car a while back and people did say that the 4G69 "works hard to keep up" with the heavy body.
let us know how everything goes though!
glad you're still with us.
take care!

Wow sorry the Ra is gone but like said already at least u still have a 4g69.

The eclipse is a tank compared to the Ra , 400+ pounds more but hacking works them more than our platform so thats a plus. Club4g will be your new home.

I know Crans. This thing is a tank, but honestly the lack of power is not as noticeable as I thought and compared to comparable cars in the price range, the 4G69 still trumps as far as HP and Torque. Also, I couldn't do a civic (though I glanced at a couple) unless it was an Si, but I sit in traffic about 2-3 days out of the week, so I chose not to go with a manual. Lots of people on clug4g squirt these things so I'm looking into that.

Those rims are definitely going on and since I have more wheel well to work with and a different stock rolling ratio, there are infinitely more tire choices without major fender work. I'm excited about that.

I'm already deep in research on Club4g and the reflash from Hackish is already a must on my list of mods. I actually was just reading your post from 2011 about the cam grinds from Delta and RPW, I'm thinking Stage 1, and btw I wanted to ask, since Hackish is sort of a ghost, do you have any idea if he has a tune for a Stage 2 grind?

Thanks for the support guys and I definitely won't be a stranger.

LOL It does! Most of the people that get something else end up wanting an RA again, or missing something about their RA.

Ive actually given some serious though to buying a second RA so I can have one to daily and one to play with... I'd love to find one without a motor, or tranny as I already have one I can build at home... lol

Get you another RA kapitol! :P

I was thinking about it because I really want something to practice driving manual in. If I get another RA, even if it was a beater, I would. Problem is, I have seen less than 10 in my area ever. When I see one, it's like a unicorn.

Plus, I gotta wait until I pay this one down some before I go doing that. The problem there is, I've already spent >1000+ on mods for the Eclipse. (bought BC BR's, side skirts, a resonator and a CF engine prettier upper piece )

Heads up. I'm about to post a FS thread...not too much for sale, but maybe something you could find useful.
