hey just want to get opinions from people on a color...

I like the thunder gray, but i've heard its a pain to keep clean.
Yellow doesnt look too bad, but I feel like its a little showy.
Diamond white looks good too.


all opinions welcome.

I'm getting White
At first I wanted black...but then I saw white, and it was love at first sight.
It's really a toss up between white and red, IMO.
BTW, thunder gray isnt THAT hard to keep clean. My 02 Lancer is TG...It DOES get dirty, but its not a pain to keep clean. Except when Spring comes around (pollen). That ****s a bugga.

 

I've posted on this topic a few times and I still like Silver the best. I was at the dealer and had my choice between every color other then yellow and I chose silver simply because it looks the most clean. Sounds weird but with Silver on this car it actually looks somewhat luxurious. I went there with black in mind and when I saw the black up close it just didn't look that appealing. I'm normally not in into silver when it comes to cars but the RA did it for me. I just thought about black tinted windows (which I now have) and black rims with a gun metal lip which is what I'm getting ASAP. Woot

 

I went with black, as I wanted black on black on black! VERY NICE! (...when clean, of course!)

 

The yellow is a fine looking car. The thunder gray isn't that difficult to keep clean. Our daughter's Lancer is TG. Our other daughter's Lancer is black and shows dirt worse. Silver is probably the cleanest looking for the longest time. Previous white cars were tough to keep clean looking. As a bonus, silver is the color involved in the least collisions.

 

I have the diamond white and I absolutely love it....Its only hard to keep clean when it rains and the weather is nasty which it pretty much always is during winter in Louisiana.

 

hmm well thanks for your input everybody. one more question... what do you think about the red? im starting to like that

 

I have a Thunder Gray RA and I love it.

 

I like the grey, black, or the dark blue....think it might be called royal blue...I haven't seen the option for the blue on the website, but the dealer said I can get it in blue, so I think that's what I'm gonna go for...unless the gf wants blue for her lancer, in which case I'll go grey so that we can distinguish the 2 cars, hehe

 

Face it people...White is best. Theres no way around it.

 

As you can tell from my sig, the best color is PUNISHER BLACK! (As my girlfriend says, 'What are you, EIGHT?!") Hee hee hee!

 

The red rocks. Do not let anyone fool you. Looks great even when dirty! (and ya can't say the same for gray or black..)

 

No offense, but there's no way I'll ever buy a white car...my mom's Sable was white...it's never clean, it looks like crap even if clean ...white's just not a good color for a car...


Oh yeah, I forgot about the red...the red's nice too...
