haven't been on in a while. got a question.

Well its nice to see that although some of the seniority guys on here that have sold their RA still help new people that come in.

Ok heres the question ive had my car for a couple years already and it seems lik i have to keep replacing the inner tie rod what gives? Ive had to change it at least once a year. I dont drive like an *** on the road but i do some auto x is it because our cars are torquie? Its annoying to keep replacing these damn things is there a stornger one i can get? Thanks for the answers.

you've replaced them before, was there any noticeable wear or damage to the last ones...I hear something similar on mine but I can't recreate it with the car off the ground...

I dont know I didn't change them last time. I had sent it to get an alignment and they called me and told me so I didn't get to see it

hmm...could be the autocrossing...i don't think there are any aftermarket (performance) tie rods....maybe try OEM, but they are $65 each...

I cant look at ASA right now. But I wonder if the Evo tie rods are the same or if they are stronger. Might be worth looking into.

I looked for tie rod ends at one point but nada. I was able to use a generic energy suspension poly bushing kit for the front end bushings, made a difference.

I ran into this problem quite frequently with the tie rods. I assumed it was just the crappy roads/potholes that we have here. I asked about aftermarket tie rods too but no luck back then.

To me it sounds like something is causing the tie rod to wear of far sooner than it should. Is the frame straight? Has it been in any accidents?
