oil change intervals?

oil change intervals?
hey fellas my RA has 3500 km in it, i'am just wondering when should i go change the oil....the manual says 6000km.....but thats alot of km between oil changes....i used to change the oil in my b18 civic every 3000 km......any comments?

In my experience, if you're talking kilometers(km), the norm is 5000 for reg oil, if you go syn then I've heard numbers of 10,000 or 15,000 kms, personnally I'd go 10,000
...I believe in miles you should change reg oil at roughly 3000, which makes sense as there's 1.8 km in a mile,
3000*1.8 = 5400
3000 kilometers seems like a waste of oil to me, unless u check it and it's really really dirty...
...6000 isn't too bad either, but I try to stay at 5000 as I think it's better for the engine to change it then instead of waiting
...this is assuming of course your talking about regular, daily driving (city and/or highway)
