Rear seat courtesy lights and charging station

Hey there, just thought I would share the upgrades I did today maybe to give others an idea for their own car. I picked up some flushmount LEDs off Amazon (4) and mounted them to the back of the center console to light up the foot wells. I also picked up a 12v accessory port (cigarette lighter) and a dual USB port for charging and mounted those to the back of the center console as well so my son can charge his devices on long road trips.

That's a clean looking install. Great idea! I am though about something similar using the space where the ashtray located since no one ever smoked in my car.

Thanks. I had hoped to put the charging ports in the ashtray location as well, but the opening was a little too big for the one I bought. As for the lights, I figured if I put anything in that wasn't flush mount then my son would most likely end up knocking them off with his feet. They put out quite a bit of light for how small they are and I don't have anything glued to the back headliner for light.

That is really cool! Ive been thinking about doing somethings similar.

There was an old thread where a guy replaced the ashtray with wall outlets and had them wired to a power inverter. was a pretty cool install.

Nice work though! Very clean.
