AC quit, engine fan problem?
My AC stopped cooling a couple of weeks ago on a road trip. I figured it needed a recharge, but it was working again the next time I drove it. It worked ok until this week, when it stopped cooling again.
I took it to my regular shop. They report that the system had full pressure, but the passenger side fan has stopped working, and that I needed to replace the fan. Since I would replace the fan control module first (currently running an ebay one from last year), I'll be picking up the car tomorrow and will change that first.
Any comments? I thought the fan module only operated the driver side fan, but I figure it's worth changing it out to see what happens. If I need a fan, suggestions for source?

The OEM FCM has two fan outputs for passenger and driver side fans. I bought an OEM FCM (part number: MN1355A408) instead of from ebay. Mitsubishi updated the part because it was known for being faulty which is why I would buy from the dealer. The FCM's floating on ebay are most likely old stock.
Thanks for the reply. As the gen one RA gets older and older, this forum gets a lot less traffic. The eBay module wasn't even a Mitsubishi labelled part. It was probably same or similar as one from Rock auto.
Do you know the revised part number?
