Good luck and enjoy your new RA. I am sure you will love it. But hey, get the yellow or white...hehe.

Hey, I got my Ralliart and I love it. There are only a few drawbacks of the car, none of which are major. I guess I'd like it just a little bit faster. Thats something that an intake and exaust can probably fix. Also the Tires are M rated so before you try any gaurdrail kissing manuvers realize that there are limits to how this car handles. Overall, I have not had a single mechanical issue with the car. I love the interior, the Evolution shifter is pure bliss and its a great practical daily driver. Its a great all around car and the price is right.

My favorite part is that I haven't seen a single one in my area. Not a one. Its so refreshing having a car that no one else has. Well, for now. heres some pics.

M-rated? I thought all RA tires were V-rated. At least mine are.

They're not the best-gripping treads on the planet (ugh, RS-A's), but they're v-rated.

M is only rated to 81 miles per hour!!

I think he means M&S tires which are all season tires. They would be at the very least an S rated tire and I believe you are correct that they are V rated however I'd have to go outside and look to get that last 1% certainty.

Does anyone have a Sportback Ralliart ? How is the handling and power since it is 200+lbs heavier? I wanted to test drive one but it was unavailable at my local dealer. I only test drove the sedan version.

Mine is the Sportback RA and it drives great. I'm sure a 5 spd sedan would outrun it but it's no slouch. I'm really enjoying it tremendously. I may try to keep this one until all the warranties are used up.

I would of liked to get the Sportback to hold my mountain bikes, but got the sedan for the 5 spd. So it is a Yakama roof rack for me!
Based on the success of the Ralliart this year I wouldn't be surprised if Mitsubishi offers the Sportback in 5 spd next year.

I believe it will be out in 5 spd as well. In some ways I like the a/t better though, just for the convenience factor. If RRM and others will bring out the same mods for it as the 5 spd then it's all good. That's the only thing that really concerns me any is not being able to pump up the volume on this one as much.

the automatic RA i test drove yesterday (sedan) drove very nice for an auto... was very responsive, and didnt annoyingly downshift as i was gradually pushing the pedal to the floor
