Will the RA be able to run in the high 13's NA?

My goal is to get my RalliArt landing in the 13's in a 1/4 mile run without a turbo or supercharger. My best is a 15.031 in a quarter mile and if I had tread on my tires and if they weren't stock tires I'd be landing 14.9's Do you think we'll be able to get into the high 13's NA without turbocharging or supercharging our cars? All I have is RRM CAI and Custom Catback exhaust and I'm landing 15.0 I figure with the ECU, headers, street tires, better plugs, a better clutch, nice coilovers and a few other things I may possibley land high 13's. What do you think?
What other upgrades will we need?

I doubt it. pretty highly doubt it. SRT4s stock run 14 flat with 230 hp. Weight might be a factor though, dont know how much either car weighs. My brothers 92 mustang gt with heads cam, exhaust and intake and other crap that id ont know about runs 13.5s off nitrious...

high 13's should be VERY possible without FI!! All you have is Intake and exhaust and you are 15 flat in the quarter. Get the piggy back, Rob says this is a HUGE performance mod and everyone who has driven the car with it in there says the gains are amazing! Also, you have NO suspension work done either. Getting a good set-up will help the launch also. And email Rob about the clutch thing. I talked to him about the clutch and he says we dont need to replace the clutch. He says he is going to make a resistor removal plate for the clutch and he says that the clutch will perform MUCH better with just this inexpensive mod. He was talking under $100 for the parts. Do some suspension, ECU, clutch upgrade, go out and buy some really nice ZR rated tires...you will probably be close right there! There is always more to do, just depends on how much you want to spend.

How is the clutch restrictor setup in these cars anyway? I know on my talon I just had to unscrew the bleeder nipple and I could yank the restrictor out with a pair of needle nose and then re-assemble. That made a huge difference on a stock clutch.

a friend of mine sent me an e-mail a while back that linked to a site where they went over how they made a sentra a 14 second car with pracitically no money...it was funny as heel b/c they ripped out the entire interior, the roof, doors, windsheild...got it down to the bare frame, engine, steering wheel, motor and wheels... ...now if only I could find it...

so I'm sure you "could" make your RA 13's without turbo...

...just a matter of what you're willing to do to get it there, hehe.

Not even two full seconds to shave off. I just want to get into the 13's. Even a 13.999 would be considered landing a 13. I have quite a few 15 flat runs. 15.0 So all I really need is to shave off 1.1 seconds in order to be in the 13's

Just thought I'd point that out

I think personally it will take alot more than a few bolt ons to get the ralliart into the 13's.....the average time for the mag tested Evo's are low to mid 13's in the quarter mile...just putting some things in spec. When you are talking about shaving off seconds that is a big deal!!!! Also someone posted that with bolt ons poeple were ticking off 3 secs on the lancers. I was under the impression, so I have read, that the lancers were typically a 17sec car in the quarter. So are you telling me with bolt on mods not going FI these base 120 hp cars are hitting the 14's? Well someone needs to tell Boe who has spent thousands and worked with rrm to get his lancer to the low 14's (when he first started a while back now, he is beyond this now0 and he was running a turbo kit to pull 14's. I Think the ralliart is a good potential car but its gonna take more than an ecu upgrade and some bolt on mods to put it in the same area as the current low to mid 13 sec cars on the market.........But still good luck on your goals and I wish you the best with them!!
