Ralliart Sport Tuned Exhaust
Does anyone know specifically how Mitsubishi sport tuned our exhaust?
It doesn't make sense to me because for one, the intake box looks normal. Two, the intake manifold looks normal. Three, headers are stock. Four, the muffler looks stock. Maybe I overlooked at one or more of these things listed. But, I love the sporty sound of the exhaust.

the difference is in the pipe size. The exhaust is 2 1/8", and I believe the muffler is a "free-flowing" design.
But you're right, the intake setup seems to be no different than regular Lancers. That's where most of the restriction is going to take place.

technically if it came from the factory, it's stock.. so your statements about the headers and muffer looking stock is true =) (joking)
if you look at our headers and let's say a header off a stock civic, you will see that ours is actually equal length headers.. and the muffler is almost a straight through design.. hence the tone
i think that i would save my $$$ on the exhaust side and spend it fixing up the intake side like ^--- he said
