Talking I could use some Help guys

Hey whats up. I just bought My Ralliart about 3 weeks ago and was wondering what sort of engine mods I could do. Sadly is's a 4 speed auto. I can't drive a stick yet. Need to learn though, I'm trading up to an evo when I pay this off.

I'm just starting to get into car modification, although both of my brothers do it. They only work on American though. It's hard to find people to help you, even harder whne you're a girl. So I'd really like it if I could get some Ideas off of you guys.

I plan on turning it into a show car, but I see no point in making it look good if it has a stock engine.

Well, you can start by changing the ecu and add a CAI to it. I dont believe theres a turbo for auto RA yet though, but there is a turbo for Lancer ES, LS, and OZ thats auto. hope that helps...

That engine there, thats the powerhouse! Thats what makes the 162 HP. Thats what made me....fall in love, with this car. Its not as fast as the EVO, but you better be darn proud you got a ralliart. If you're going to change THIS stock engine for another, might as well get the EVO and dress her up like a doll. Otherwise put a turbo kit on, intake, exhaust, put stickers on if you want it to look ricey, and you're set girlfriend.

i would do your basic mods...intake, exhaust, headers and the RRM ECU...thats if you plan to upgrade to an evo later on....its a shame your bro's only work on Americans...lets just hope that once you start modding your car they'll soften up and help you out with your car...the RA doesn't pack as much punch as the american v8's but the RA's are damn good cars for little 4cylinders.

no its ok i had forgotten you're new to the modding scene so let me break it down for you...

RRM = Road Race Motorsports [produces lots of go fast bits for our Mitsu's]
ECU = Electronic Control Unit [computer]

RRM ECU is a pre-programmed computer for our lancers that gives our cars better performance.

CAI is a Cold Air Intake its a aluminum pipe that reaches from engine to the lower front of the car to allow the motor to suck in colder air.

www.roadracemotorsports.com

this is the best company and site that has what you need performance wise.

as for exterior modifications...

www.body-kit.com

is the only company out right now with a body kit for your year 04 Lancer.

All the parts I can find are for five speeds. Damn it I need to learn stick shift.

heh no worries RRM will surely release more products for auto tranny Ralliarts. If you look at the 02-03 Lancer parts RRM practically offers all their products in both manual and auto formats...so its just a short while until RRM releases auto Ralliart parts too.

Just want to say a QUick thanks again. You guys are so much nicer that the local "club." They don't like newbies or girls very much, so they treat me like crap. So thanks for being such nice guys. Good to know not everyone's a dick.
