Finally got around to putting my bug deflector on today. I dont wanna hear any crap about how my car isn't clean though, its been raining the past couple days so I havent really had a chance to clean it. I like the Lancer on there, but I think I might see if I can get a small Ralliart decal and put it on there as well

Anybody have one on a yellow Lancer? I'm thinkin it might not look good at all, but who knows....I'm tired of all the chips....ohh and I have yellow eyelids....

I buy it at my dealer for only 65$ Canadien in January (but a ask to paid the cost price when a buy my car) and is why you see the little "Lancer" inscription on the deflector.

 

the best way to avoid rock chips in your paint is to stay far behind vehicles on the road (esp. the highway/interstate) and if someone dings your door and leaves a scratch the best thing to use to get it out is meguiers wax...i've had several people scratch my car and every scratch has come out so far (knock on wood) due to the miracle wax

 

why not just get the bra from the dealer? looks cleaner and you can take it off when ever you want.

 

Does your bra leave any marks in the paint?

 

none at all. you just have to take it of when it rains and when you wash the car. other than that no marks. if you leave it on all te time and park in the sun every day it'll prolly fade the paint differently under the bra, only after a long while though. I only use mine for freeway drives and stuff like that.

 

Ordered mine today. Should take a week to come in. The dealership gave it to me for $65 U.S. I asked if they had a catalog with goodies one could order, but they don't. Anyway, thought you'd like to know.

 

I'd really like to see it on a silver one... I don't have any rock chips yet, but I don't want to end up with any either.
