Talking Ralliart Injen Intake

Nopi.com has cold air intakes for the Ralliart 4G69. They're around 250 dollars, and it looks sweet. Here's the description from Injen:

RD1833
2004 Lancer Ralliart

Cold Air Intake System

The RD1833 Cold Air Intake is built from 6061, T6 aluminum alloy and comes complete with all necessary hardware for a fast and painless installation.

Let it also be known that according to overboost.com, it ONLY fits 5 speed, no auto.

I emailed Injen about manual vs. auto....they told me it will fit both transmissions.

But hey, that's just from Injen. Who knows, right?

Nopi is too expensive, if you are going to get one, wait till www.ptuning.com gets one in, they dont have a price on it yet but Ive ordered from them before and they are a helluva lot cheaper, plus they have free shipping and 110 percent price match guarantee. Give them some time before you go blowing over 250 bucks for an intake. Just my .02

if its like previous intakes ive seen from them its 2 piece design that can be changed to a straight pipe (rainey days)

oh an btw the ralliart is a sweet ride, should have alot of fun with it.

finally took the lancer/ralliart symbols off the car today too and it looks slick in the back now.

not much, the Injen bends a little bit differently, and the brackets are in different locations. Performance-wise, you will NOT be able to tell the difference.

They probably sound different, though...since RRM and Injen use different filters.

This is the response i got when i asked injen if the ra will fit the auto:

We need to do test fitting on the Auto.
As of now, the RD1833 will only fit manual.
The primary tube will fit the automatic for sure though. The RD1833 is 2 piece.
