good alarm systems

hi, i just bought a ralliart and wanted a good alarm system. any suggestions? nothing to hi tech. dont want to spend a lot of money.

alarms are all about the install. Shop around and talk to the installers, not the salespeople...see if they've worked on this particular vehicle before, how much trouble they think it will be, also ask something specific like "can you mount the led there?" and see what their response is. If they seem willing to do what you want and seem knowledgable about your vehicle then that's a good sign. Go with your gut feeling...look around the shop, is it clean, etc.
Also, do you want an "alarm" or a "security system" and what do you want it to do? keyless entry, remote start, etc...

jdrockafella gives good advice if i were you i'd def take it. and when you get yours let us know what you got. i'm kinda interested cause i was thinkin of gettin one too.
