Exhaust
Any one out there put a FlowMaster on their RA yet? Just wondering how much fabrication was required? I want to run the new super 40 and looking at the RRM Magnaflow system just looks like 2.25 offset/offset which could be welded to exsiting connector pipe and a custom tip.
Also any other RA owners in Ontario, Canada ?

The factory RA axle back sounds better than most cars however there is no comparisson to the sound of flow master. It gives a lower growl, not the bumble bee in a Coke can sound alot of the riced Honda's have. The performance gain wouldn't be worth much, maybe a bit more top end?
i just bought a bull**** N1 slash angle flamed tip muffler off ebay for 48 bucks shipped, i am just swaping mufflers since factory piping is good, i shall see what it sounds like i hope it doesnt sound like a ****ing honda. only honda i ever heard that sounded good was a H22A4 aka Prelude last generation 2.2 vtec dohc in case peeps didnt know
You guys will be OK with the sound of the muffler replacement. not ricey at all. The full system I have is 2.5" with no resonators and when the car is warmed up, meaning I have driven it about 10 miles, the exhaust sounds FANTASTIC. But when it is cold the thing is pretty ricey. If I put resonators on it I am sure that would go away, but oh well, you live and you learn. But for the RA the axle back sounds mean, but I would recommend a muffler that isnt a chambered muffler...aka the flowmaster I am thinking off. I know they one that is straight through like the magnaflow, but the "popular" one has the chambers in it for the "good sound" and that one is crap. I bought mine on ebay and it is styled after the Greddy Evo muffler and I cant say enough good thigns about it. And there is a good performance gain from a good muffler in our cars. My exhaust was better than my CAI...which was a first for me.
