Fighting the good fight

Well, I talked to Mitsu today about a few things...One is I wanted to know if the recent extention of the mitsu warrenties will be applied to our cars (3year bumper to bumper jumped to 5)......and the answer is NO. They say it's a promotion.

Also since I had a manager on the phone I decided to bring up a few issues I've seen on this forum. I brought up the throw out bearing issue, the 3500 rpms at highway cruse speed issue (also known as the "Where is sixth gear issue"), the issue with the crappy stock tires, and also the grindy shift issue. I'm sure that they will carefully consider these and then ignore my comments completely; but I suppose that there is hope that they won't fall on deaf ears (the manager was cool after I let go of wanting the 5 year bumper to bumper thing). Anyway I though you guys may want to know that at least they can never clam that they are not aware of the issues. If there are issues I forgot let me know; if they call back I'll tell them.

Call BS on your dealership, get a hold of the regional manager.

It was a few months back. It was directly from Mitsu. I will scan it in and post what they sent me.

straight from the horses mouth. looks like 04 models previously purchased ARE NOT under the new coverage, which i find strange. furthermore, i could have sworn the yahoo article last week said otherwise.
