Has anyone tried the Rok-Gards plastic film that can be applied to the headlight covers, and is supposed to protect against damage caused by flying rocks, etc? My previous cars have suffered the blast effects of the grit that highway maintenance crews apply to the roads during the Colorado winter and inevitably gets kicked by the cars ahead. Opinions based on experience with this product, or effective alternatives, would be much appreciated (have done a search and couldn't find any relevant posts).
