Desperately seeking: Evo 8-style hood

Who other than Accolade (I live in Cali so they're out of the question) makes Evo 8-style body components for the 04's so far?

You should find someone in another state that can buy one from accolade and then ship it to you. A friend anywhere but in CA.

I suppose that is an option. I'm curious about the fit, though. I saw some gaps in the photos on Accolade's site that I'm not happy about. Lookin' for options...

I have one on my car. I had to take the strut bar off in order to fit. The lines are okay. A little thick up closer to the glass. And gap between nose and hood is kinda big.

But looks good. Also you have to figure out a way to not let water in on your motor.

I will post pics soon.

Thanks for the note. I'm looking forward to checking out the pics. Do you think the RRM strut bar would work with the hood? Or that perhaps the hood can be trimmed to fit the stock bar? Seems kindof ridiculous that you have to remove a major piece of handling hardware to fit a hood.

I think Accolade only has an ES (or maybe LS/OZ). That would probably be the reason for the fitment issues that someone else has seen from the kit. The RA is the only one of the 4 that comes with the strut bar, so if they have no strut bar they would probably not have designed for it.
