doesnt matter if their american?.......what does that have to do with it?...your gonna put it on anyways...a lot of things are illegal...most parts available are NOT carb exempt...its only illegal if you get caught with it on the street not unless your using it for race purposes

Cops wont pull you over unless you overwhelmed your car with decals and stickers, or your car coughes up massive amount of black fume. You only get in trouble when you go over speed limits (and i mean ALOT). Then they will check to see if you got anything thats not from the original manufacturer. Downpipe is a no no, but sway bars, struts, suspension, etc can be added in and they wont notice it. At least, even if they do, they wont pull you over when you drive in limits with those things.

ive been to illegal street racing, and cops pulled everybody over, checked their mods, some got illegal intakes and exhaust, little things like that still

so does RRM really provide you with better performance than such AEM intakes and n1 exhausts? etc?

Yes. RRM is comparable to the "name-brand" companies. They deal with Mitsubishis on an almost-exclusive basis, so their R&D process on the Ralliart is much higher than what you would see at AEM or Apex'i, where they focus on a wide range of vehicles.

I've yet to purchase from RRM, but my buddy has bought up everything they have for OZ & swears by it... They work specifically on the RA for these parts & I feel more confident in that, because they are focusing on OUR engine & everything!!!

It all depends on the cop's mood and the day he is having, i got pulled over with my rrm axleback because the cop thought the tip was too big...WTF????? Then i got pulled over another time for goin 91 in a 65, the cop just told me to slow down and he let me go. But like I said, it all depends on the cop.

No, just that most states aren't anywhere nearly as strict as CA. Where I am, they don't even do emission inspections, so I can do anything I want to my car and get away with it.

Im in California as well, CARB is evil. Just dont make it obvious that you have mods. Most officers wont bother hassling you but there are the few that want to throw the book at you.
