Went to clean the filter today and the rubber tubing of mine was coming apart. Has this happened to anyone else?

 

It's a known issue with RRM. They've been having numerous complaints with their K&N Filters, to the point that they're not using k&n anymore. I would contact RRM and see what they have to say about it.

In any case, that k&n filter should not be destroying like that. It's supposed to have a pretty solid warranty.

 

yeah it looked almost to the point where it might fell off if i leave it on there too much longer. i'll give them a call tomorrow. thanks

 

be careful not to overtighten the bracket piece.

 

i think that might be some of the problem
