Thanks for the input guys. The reson i did not powder coat my rims was because they do weaken your rims. I saw somewhere in the forums a picture of a rim shattered and broken because of the powder coat.

First i used aircraft removal to eat away the clear coat then after it ate away to the bare aluminum i sanded down the rims to smooth it out. Then i put about four coats of primer, about 5 to 6 coats of semi gloss black and then i put a lot of clear coat. Dont remember how many coats but i used two cans of clear coat on all four rims. The paint i used was the dupli color paint. You can pretty much buy it at any car store like a pep boys or kragen.

Damn that looks sweet, they look like aftermarket wheels now. I just hope the paint holds up.

Yea, i just taped off the tire so i wouldnt get any paint on the tire.
