Used HID's for sale
Hey, sorry this is off topic, but I'm from Kingston, looking at getting the Evo hood and Evo 8 wing for my Silver Ralliart. Your wing isnt CF, is it the Evo 8 wing from the dealer? If so, how much did you pay for it, and was it painted and installed for that price? And where did you get that hood?
Just note guys, if the bulbs are from an Audi, chances are they will blind oncoming traffic. Audi HID bulbs were made for projectors, which means they are not blocked like the ones for reflector applications. Furthermore, these D2S bulbs are probably using some kind of adapter to fit the 9007 sockets.
Bottomline: You will light up not only the road but also the trees and the buildings with this setup.
No offense to the seller, but I have researched a lot about HIDs since they started in the late 90's. A better setup would be to get the rebased bulbs for the 9007. This means the center of light is at the same height as the halogen's filament.
However, in the US, it doesn't matter if you get the rebased bulbs or not -- they will still be illegal.
Do some research. Maybe you can get some more info from hidforum.com. Some guys there are putting turkey baster shields (DIY) on the bulbs to get rid of glare and the halo effect, but the assumption in all this is the bulb needs to be at least properly aligned.

Way to go on the research, but i have a set in my car already and i have no problems with them or oncomming traffic, i have re-adjusted my headlamp aim to point down more than normal and also coverd the top portion of the bulb to reduce glare as you mentioned,so i'm sure anyone who is a little handy can do the same, but for full effect the best thing is projector lenses, that will be my next install.......so to answer your last post........been there, done that!

My wing is full fibreglass, and the hood is the original hood, except that i fabricated the opening in the hood out of steel and is functional. The hood from Accolade would set you back aprox $900.00 cad with the exchange and shipping, so for me it's cheaper this way.But good luck with your mods.
