why would you drive 145 in a taurus!? do you have a deathwish, those cars fall apart while parked, no way I would trust it at that speed.

If you guys put on the accolade body kit, will that help or worsen the drag on this car?

forgot to add. the rsx is limited by drag. 6th gear will only go to about 120, at 5,000rpm. but in 5th gear, at 120mph its at about 5500-6000rpm giving it about 2k more to go, and enought to get up to 130+(my numbers are slightly off.)
I agree with you.. the RSX-Type S is Drag Limited.. But Lower that thing and You can hit 160.. My Boy did that in his. However it was worked from here to hell and back. And was lowered and had the Factory Spoiler kit minus the wing.

ANd I have Topped My Ra out at 130 and it was scary.I felt like the whole car was floating on air.I didnt relaize I was at that speed either.Definately not like my Talon. I wont be doing that again till I get my Body kit and some kind of Ground Control kit ( Lowereing Springs,Coilovers, etc.)

The 02-04 RSX-S can get to about 135 in 5th gear. Shifting to 6th gear yields nothing more because the ratio is too small. The 2005 Type-S can get to 145 easily because of the higher final drive ratio.

More surface = more drag Good for control bad for top speed

In all honesty, most bodykits are just show. Most don't generate downforce out of anything other than luck. Only truely expesive kits are wind tunnel tested. Veilside makes some ugly freakin kits but they are all wind tunnel tested. Cheaper body kits only add drag for the most part. I'm not saying Accolade makes a cheap body kit, but there is no literature on the website about such testing. The oversized rice-rims are for show. I would assume the kit is as well. Large obnoxious rims only add more rotational mass, screw up your suspension, and burn up the brakes. I have not talked to Accolade personally, but these are my observations.
