Where's The Intercooler...?
 

Maaaan, lately ive been noticing alot of people looking @ my car and asking, "where's there intercooler"... I reply, "in my garage, next to the turbo, IC piping and boost controller", lol. When Im @ a light or making a left or right turn, alot of people drive by and try to look underneath my bumper for the intercooler. Its mostly just people w/ imports, but still. Yesterday I was leaving my local tuner shop, and these 2 guys in a 95 civic, w/ a black hood (not cf... lol), drove across the street and where looking @ my car or for the intercooler, almost caused an accident, because an oncomming motorist honked @ him, :lol:. Im not dissapointed in it thou, I think it's funny.

Any of yall get asked, "where's the intercooler"? :lol:

Most people have no clue what I'm driving. (I have the regular spoiler and removed all the badges..and tinted tail lights).

You have the evo spoiler, right?

yes , i do get that a lot . when i tell them that it's a ralliart they tell me why i didn't get an evo , and i just say" i'll smoke you with this car" .

I get people on a regular basis complimenting me on my evo... :dunno: I always get the same response. "Nice evo man, I didn't know you could get those in canada."

I find most people don't know what the hell I'm driving, even with all the badging on, so the only time I get any looks is when a stock lancer passes me. :dunno:

I do get some funny looks sometimes. Not sure if they think it is an OZ or what. Hell, not many people even know about the Ralliart. Not until I started looking for a 4 door did I even know what it is. I don't expect many people at all to know what the hell a Lancer Ralliart is.
I attribute the public's ignorance to Mitsu's BRILLIANT marketing of the Ralliart platform. I have yet to even see a commercial or ad for an EVO, let alone a Ralliart. :mitsu: {thumbdwn}

There's one Mitsu commercial where you can see the RA (that I know of) for about 3/4 of a second and the only way you can tell it's an RA is if you already know exactly what one looks like, so kinda defeats the purpose.

Mitsu is cutting back on all ads b/c of finances - but your right, even when they had more comercials-and the ones they do have- always usually show the base Lancer and a Galant.

Most people here do not have a clue what it is, and most people have this to say.

Ralli-what? Thats what i get most of the time. I had this new cavalier z34 or whatever they are try and take me on the freeway. . . well, he tried. We got off the exit and he followed me to Carls Jr and asked me what i had on my OZ. I was like, um what OZ?

Mine will be in Vancouver over the New Year's weekend. It's red and debadged with Tommi Makkinen edition decals from the Evo 6.5 TME (sans the side stripes). I am looking forward to the compliments I will get on all I've done to my RalliArt :D

Same here. some people think i am driving a evo. they are like "Nice Evo Man!" they are so retarded. I have no evo 8 wing and i have my badges still on. I told my friend that i drove a ralliart and he still calls it and evo. He is so stupid

when i bought my winter tires the guy changing my tires thought it was an eclipes when it says lancer ralliart on it

yeah people are always like what the hell is a lancer ralliart?? i usually feel like a moron if i start explaining... so i just say ive beaten a 2 2004 si's with decent drivers... then they are usually like wth?

...which is why he's changing tires for a living. :lol:
