E-brake loose?

I was parked in a driveway, kind of on a sland. maybe.. 30 odd degrees, maybe? just a guess.. and i notice that my car started to slide back.

how do i go about tightening my ebrake?

The cables might be stretched or the pads are worn down. Mine is probly worse then yours...I need to figure out whats wrong with mine also

you can adjust it right under the center console. if that doesnt work you gotta jackup the ass and take off your rear wheels and there's a whole(i cant remember if there's a plug or not) and theres a screw in there you have to find(yes that means spin the drum) and tighten it. do this on both sides and make sure theyre even. it helps to have a friend sit/look in the car to make sure its even.

Mine was a little loose about a week ago, open the center console and unscrew the two screws at the bottom, pull the center console up and towards the back seats to unhook the two white clasps that are holding it in place towards the front. Once that console comes up you have full access to the E-brake.

Some people were replacing their handles with the Evo MR carbon ones.

You won't pass inspections if your ebrake doesn't work...

Got mine ajusted about two weeks ago for the same reason: but I think they got it a little bit too firm....only 3 clicks for full e-brake lock!

I just got mine done too. takes about 30minutes at a dealer and usually they don't charge.

Where's your dealer.. they must need customers or are really friendly.. cause my dealer would charge me an arm and a leg for that.. even if i take the centerconsole out for them.. haha

yeah just take ur center console off and follow the ebrake cable to ur ebrake and you should be able to adjust it from there!

Well, I'm in Canada. and I went to my dealer. "My parking brake is messed, I have to pull it so high, come and I'll show you" so I showed them, and it was damn high. I told them I wanted it covered under warranty. and they did it.
