so i was driving down the road last night, and this guy tosses his mc donald's cup FULL of soda out his window....we're both going about 45mph in opposite directions i'd assume...(since i was going 45 i assume he was too...)

so it hits my car and i figured...w/e...thats some nice aim..he hit my car w/e its a cup full of soda...so i keep driving till i get home...and this is what i find...

i went to the police dept JIC and they said yea id need to report it and theyd need it for insurance...now i gotta call insurance and all that BS...GRRR...

OMG!!! Sorry man... Once you get the money from the insurance put some projectors in.

nekkidlad Aug 8, 2011 06:39 AM

YEAH...LOL...
and maybe i can get some leftover money for a starter too..it died 2 weeks ago the night before i left to get married in puerto rico...and its not fun to push start my car everywhere i go(when im alone, if my wife's there ive been able to smack the starter several times with the tire iron and have it start)....lol

sikksixx Aug 8, 2011 06:43 AM

ohman
that really blows man sorry that happened

but yeah lol new projectors oooooooooooorr just get a replacement headlamp and you should have enough for the starter sense its a bit more important {thumbup}

cant have a good looking car that wont run

bakuro117 Aug 8, 2011 06:46 AM

Oh wow! That sucks!!! Im sorry man! Yea I'd definitely upgrade once insurance pays up. May be a blessing in disguise!

nekkidlad Aug 8, 2011 07:08 AM

just got a call from insurance...they say its $200 deductible...GRR:mad:

....im starting to think i should just pay outta pocket...lol...OR....since i work as a mechanicin a shop...i can pay myself at the repair shop and crank the price way up that way:D....(but then i gotta actually go thru the shop and ill never see that $, just a new HL....:crap:)

lanzerralliart Aug 8, 2011 07:34 AM

200 dollar deductible , that's about the price of the projectors shipped........I would leave the insurance out of it.

nekkidlad Aug 8, 2011 08:08 AM

i found this place online so far its $121 shipped(free shipping) for 1 left side HL...
and i still need a starter...lol

That's some REALLY nice aim, but in the worst way possible. I sorry to see that that happened to you.

CrAnSwIcK Aug 8, 2011 05:57 PM

i would have followed him home, and smashed his headlight...eye for an eye, lol

Ralliartimus Aug 8, 2011 06:19 PM

****ty luck, but you are lucky enough that it didn't hit your windshield, it would have broken it or gone through it.

But I would leave insurance out of it. the price for both projectors(ebay) is the same as your deductible, and even if you bought the projectors and a starter, you would still pay less than what your insurance would cost you after the claim.

Vro0oom Aug 8, 2011 07:36 PM

Holy shiieeet that's crazy, dude! Lodged right in there :P

What a douche... he not only ****ed over your headlamp, he wasted a FULL cup of pop AND added to the already massive garbage this world has accumulated over the last 100 years.

I agree with Crans on this one, that douche needs a nose job.

As crappy as that is, the pictures made me laugh. Maybe its because I'm hungry

Cranswick, one of my daughters smashed in a guys headlights for touching her purse, but that was in Ottawa. I think in the USA the victim might get shot for retaliating - with all due respect to our friends down there, you just never know. Seems wise to let it go.

id say it depends where u are if u get shot or not...lol

the neighborhood that it happened in, i'd say its unlikely to get shot or retaliated on(one reason i didnt, also its not me..)
...but if i tell u i live in detroit, mi..(i live in metro detroit...so technically detroit..) ud think its highly likely ud get shot for retaliating...
but if it was IN the city of detroit, id be surprised if they didnt just toss a brick out the window instead of a drink cup...then chase ME down and shoot me...lol
