try accelerating, and gently applying pressure to the clutch pedal while still accelerating, if it stops, it's your TOB...

yep, only while accelerating

it stopped when clutch was engaged.

I will have to start reading up on TOB threads, and find a mechanic that can replace it.

Could the TOB have done damage to other parts. I bought the car about 3 months ago and the noise was only barely evident, it has been getting louder and seems to be there all the way to 4th gear sometimes. Its the loudest at lower gears.

In some cases the input shaft has shattered but I have been having the noisy tob for over a year. I'm just waiting for the oem clutch to die and do it all at once. Mine had also gotten progressively louder. At first I could only hear it upon deacceleration but then it was with acceleration aswell. Now I only don't hear it when the clutch is engaged.

if a TOB wears, it's noisy and may wear the pressure plate springs prematurely...if it fails it will destroy your clutch...when you replace the TOB, it wouldn't be a bad idea to overhaul the transmission...just bearings and seals would be around $200 in parts...a bit more for synchros if required, but they are not overly expensive...but if you pay a shop to do it, it could easily be over $1000...special tools required are a bearing separator, hydraulic press, and snap ring plier...

Sumitomo htr z II, and stock suspension

Love the new tires even though they were the cheap route, I have to comment about our stock suspension I bought my ralliart used about 1,000 miles ago. And it has about 150,000 on it and Idk if its that the struts are bad or what but my ride sucks. It's not even that its stiff its just terrible. Is there anything I can do other then buy new struts or springs because locally my labor price is crazy.

It could be the hard compound of the tires that make it a rougher ride. So you want a smoother ride but you don't want to mess with what makes the ride what it is....Hmm, that's like saying you want to make your car fast but you don't want to mess with the motor. Most of the tools needed to swap the struts can be rented for an autoparts store.

Guaranteed those old struts are messing you up. They probably are seized. Get new ones for sure, whatever it takes. Go to the local high school and ask the auto shop teacher to slot you in. They get parts for jobbers cost and do the labour for free and the teacher supervises/inspects the work.
