Hey all

I purchased my ralliart back in december of last year. While road tripping I noticed a "clunky" noise while cornering and accelerating at the same time. I didn't think much of it because of how spurratic and infrequent it was at first. Several months after I first noticed the noise however, it began making this awful noise over every little bump and corner I encountered. I took the car back to the dealership where they eventually discovered a faulty left front strut which was the culprit.

Basically, 3 months after the replacement the sound is happening again and I'm pretty sure my strut is once again the culprit. I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem, or is this my magical luck? I'm just curious if this is one of those "first year car issues" that will eventually be revised in a later model or what not. There's no doubt that the dealership will once again replace the unit, but it is a little annoying.

 

Lots of Ralliart owners have had issues with their struts, but most of them have been with the rear struts rather than the front. I know I had a really loud squeaking in my rear ones when I had them, so I just bought the tein coilovers and voila, problem fixed.
