HELP!! Rims problem

Hi guys,

Need some advice on my RA. My stock RA can only run on max 17inchx7.5J rims with 215/40/R17 tyres.

However, I recently fitted a hard to find Limited Edition Enkei WRC TARMAC EVO rim to the tyres and to the car. The rim specs is 17inchx8.5Jx30(offset).

Now the car is very unstable, vibrates, understeer and a lot of road resistance on the steering when cornering or rolling over uneven road.

I believe the tyres are undersize for the rims but if I were to change to bigger tyres, it will rub against the fenders, front lip and possibly affect driveability.

I really like this rims. Anyone can advice what can I do if I intend to keep the rims.

Thanks and much appreciated.

I dont even think fender rolling is your answer. 8.5 is really wide for our cars. Did you put them in the 215 tires? I dont really think thats recommended bro. I suggest you don't keep them rims to produce further damage to the rims itself and your car
