front bumper insert

Does anyone know if the front bumper insert from an Evo X would fit onto the GTS?

I want to buy one from a local Evo owner but want to make sure that there isnt a white foam backing behind it that would be exposed by the holes

i dont get what ur talking about, do you mean the middle black part on the bumper of the evo? if thats what ur asking. no it will not fit. you would have to do some cutting and custom work done. otherwise no its not a direct fit. your better off looking on the internet for a replica type made for the lancer. other wise it would cost too much trying to fit an OEM evo one on there.

That part is called Front Grill and does not fits on the OEM DE, ES, GTS front bumper, you can pint the middle part and you will spend less money or you can buy the whole Evo X front bumper.

Ok, thanks for the help

I'll probably just Plastidip mine for now. Any good ideas on how to get rid of the bumper holes left over from moving the plate?

RRM has a carbon fiber cap you can get for it, or you could get a body shop to fill and paint it for you since I'm thinking you want it flat black. Or they could fill it for you and you could do the paint yourself. just make sure they get it sanded smooth.
