great project!!!! but ..... thats evox engine? feel free to boost it a litle bit more remember you have a turbo engine so feel safe to do 21psi one advice move the radiator cap the stock lancer frame comes with the holes to move it to the right props for the car !!! I love the evo x hood!!!

And I have no idea why yours stick out, they're mounted straight with no spacers or modifications?

Nope, no spacers or anything! It's really weird, 'm gonna post an example pic. The pic is older but its just for the fitment.
