bypassing brake sensor for my dvd player

i have a pioneer-avh3200bt that has a bypass to watch movies while i drive.

i installed the navi add on yesterday and realized that when the navi started with the car it reactivated the brake sensor, disabling the ability to watch movies while the car was moving. so i had to make another bypass switch.

I noticed that if i started the car with the navi unplugged and then plugged it in, I could watch movies and have my navi features while the car was moving. so i made a on and off switch for my navi unit.

now it works like a charm!

Cool! I also have a bypass for my pioneer 4200. How do you like the navi? Please give me your honest opinion becuase I'm getting mixed answers from amazon. Is it true you MUST stop to enter a destination? Is there really a accellarometer that disables that or does it have to do with the bypass?

its better than nothing... i got an iphone to double check the destinations, but yeah you have to stop to enter an address. you can however, enter in a POI while driving, except that you have to register the product to receive the POI update because there are barely any loaded on the navi. as far as connection, i havent had any problems, it seems to track my location pretty well, it just takes a few minutes to lock on. feel free to hit me up for any future questions on it.

I use my iPhone as well for navi and I don't know if I could justify the 400$ for the add on

I love the iPhones navi. Works great and it has traffic. All I want to do now is purchase the scosche iPhone to video adapter and use it with my in dash. Have you tried using the scosche video cable yet?
