Hey buddy, your car looks fine the way it is.. just add better wheels and MORE power. Been to Southeast Asia a couple times.., Thailand road is fine for the most part (The cities). The roads in Cambodia are worst and they are driving Lambos and GT-Rs. So you will be fine, if you keep it on major routes. Atleast you could do all the illegal mods you want, right? No test pipes, who cares about emissions, etc.

 

yeah thai roads are great in a lot of places. very smooth nowadays. especially when driving upcountry!
you're right about the illegal mods. what would you recommend? anything you US people are salivating over that I should get?
I already got my windows tinted. 60% windshield and 80% side and back. it's quite dangerous driving at night out of the city though. can't really see out. but oh well
also got my headlights at 8000k.

 

It's your car. Mod it how you want it. You don't seem the type to me to buy a Lancer and put an Evo badge on it and cal it an Evo. If the Varis kit fits and you want it then buy it! I wasn't trying to hate, I was just trying to give you a heads up that I don't think it will fit. It's my favorite kit out there atm, and I will be purchasing as well, so if you like it and fits, go for it! : )

took the car in for service today. the guy actually unlocked the dvd player for me. 'cos stock only allows you to play dvds when the handbrake is up, but i managed to convince him to make it so i can play videos at anytime. pretty cool

 

If OP wants to pose, let him do it. His money, his taste. In words, you can fit any body kit to your car OP, all you need is the budget.

BTW, some comments sort of remind me of some hella flush/stanced retarded evo owners(300hp+ cars that are driven like any slow car out there and can't even perform properly). Ironic...

Kool! Just modify that suspension and you've got a pretty unique looking Lancer.

 

I personally don't like it.... looks and gives me the feeling of a cheezy job. Sorry to burst your bubble... Just my opinion.
