My 2012 Lancer before and after pics

Here are some pics of my 2012 ES. The wheels on it are temporary til my BBS wheels arrive. Wanted to do something different for the time being. So far the things I have done are 5% tint all around, plastidipped grille, painted stock wheels off a GTS, side mount license plate bracket, tinted rear LED tail lights, fogs off at GTS, replaced side marker bulbs with LED bulbs and that's pretty much it for now. Here are some pics from when I first tinted it, to how it currently looks. Again these wheels are not staying on the car, just waiting for my new wheels to arrive couldn't stand the steelies any longer. I personally like the wheels black but too many of my friends with lancers have black GTS wheels, had to go with something different.

Looks good! I much prefer the GTS wheels, but not necessarily red...I know, borrowed . How is that 5% treating you in that parking garage? Id be worried about hitting one of the columns, but it seems pretty well lit.

Thanks man, and the 5% isn't too bad in the parking garage because like you said it is very well lit. It makes it slightly harder to see at night but nothing that I think would make it unsafe or cause an accident or anything.

I like the blue. Looks like the sister of kissmebind. Did you paint or powder coat?

Update of my lancer

Haven't posted here in a while but no I actually used engine paint to paint those wheels, came out pretty nice in my opinion. Car is now fully plastidipped. Got into an accident and wanted to see how it would look matte black since that's what I was gonna end up painting it anyways, may just keep the plastidip. Only thing I have had done since the last post if I didn't mention before was a HKS Hi Flow Cf catback exhaust. Ordered Tien springs just waiting for it to warm up a little bit in cny and they'll go on. Also, the BBS wheels that I ordered never ended up coming in, got a full refund and went down to PA to grab a set of 17" Gold Rotas.

Oh and one last thing that was done to the car prior to plastidipping it, my fogs from the gts were a yellow color which I didn't like so I popped them out, got some LED strips ($25 at pepboys) attached them to where the fog previously was and then wired the LED strips into my daytime running lights. Some people like it some people hate it, I personally think it's alright but my car I'll do what I want to it lol. Also pretty bright at night!

Thanks! I tried getting as close to the Mustang "grabber blue" as I possibly could. It's one of my favorite colors as far as cars go. I think I got pretty close, and $8 for a spray can, can't complain lol.
