The MS3 is actually very well balanced and has a perfect stance.. this car just looks awkward as hell

I pay extra for awkward...and less for boring sedans. Seriously though, I don't think the sportback is as bad looking as everyone is making it out to be. The design cues are taken directly from the Lexus RX, which isn't a horrible design. I really like the Front of the Lancer, and the rear of the S/back is meh, but functional. For me, it's just a compromise in design for functionality without losing performance...

I'm just joking about the Mazda, BTW...

MS3 looks like any mundane Mazda 3 hatch IMO. The hood bulge (for the intercooler) doesn't look good and the beak nose & rear view never has. I'll give them props for the interior but the exterior styling has been out for so long it's looking outdated. Throw in that Mazda after Suzuki has the worst reliability of all the Japanese automakers as I will never buy one again after my wife's 2002 Protege 5 literally fell apart just after the warranty expired. Mazda = Japanese trash.

I figure you may be able to tub the wheels in the rear enough to make the hatch stick better then the sedan. Plus just because its unique doesn't mean its evil. Look at all those damn Hon-Duh's putting around still. Some look okay. Its a shame they suck so bad.

It would be great if the hatch also came in Evo flavor. It would be ideal for someone like me. I need the space since I have a family to drive around. The trunk on the regular lancer with the sub is a joke.

I wish the price was alittle lower on this car. i think at 27500 they will lose alot of bussines to the WRX still. base WRX is still around 24000 isnt it?

Any one know if there is a plan to do a light wheight model

I'd love just to get it in a stick. I like the hatch enough to get it with the SST though over the sedan. If it comes stick I hope its 27.5k with the Recaro's.
