It used to be presented with gunmetal-color rims. I for one would rather have the dealer drop some Evo X rims on it.

 

I believe the stock EVO wheels are 18x8.5 which would probably cause issues on the Ralliart...I think 18x8 with 235/40/18s will be the optimal size without rolling the fenders for the Ralliart.

 

That sucks, I was hoping It'd get different wheels from the GTS tho. Just another way Mitsu is cutting corners.

 

The problem is the fenders, Robi fit 8.5" wide 17" wheels (I believe) on his test car but had to roll the rear fenders.

 

The Event that the OP was referring to is the Lancer RalliArt Launch for the media. It was a 2 day event held at Seattle's Pacific Raceways. The media had the opportunity to compare/contrast the MR/GSR/RA/GTS on an autocross and on the street.

Until you hit a bump and end up with home-made blister fenders! The crease in the sheet metal might take away from the smooth body lines a little in my opinion! lol!

 

Those last few pics are awesome! The actual gallery has the full set of pictures that even allow you to download very nice High-Res versions. Plenty of wallpaper options

The Grey/Silver looks great from the front, but it's kinda missing some accent from the back...
