Let us know you average MPG as you burn through some tanks. The last test had it at a terrible 17MPG average. I hope it is better than that. The WRX was 5 MPG higher. That equals money..cost or savings depending on how you look at it.

wow... I got a quote for insurance on the 09 Lancer RA*Yes it is correct, I made sure* and it came out to be only 16 dollars more a month than I pay now for my 08 Lancer GTS. :-) I pay $110.74 a month(including life insurance) and the RA will cost me $126(including life insurance) a month. Now if i got the life insurance special ending this month, I would actually pay less then what I pay for my 08 Lancer GTS.

If you don't mind...
-How much was your apr
-How much was your total total including financing
-How many years did you finance for and how much are you paying a month?

Have you gone through your first tank yet? The one thing that really turned me off to this car was mileage. 17 is pitiful. I have now sacrificed my want of AWD and have started to look at the cobalt SS.

The ZChip should be a sure fire way to improve the gas mileage of the Lancer Ralliart. We are waiting for our first opportunity to test one here as the Evo X has showed improvements in gas mileage already.

TTP, do you have any write ups or details of what the Zchip produced with the X? Besides gas mileage, how has the Zchip effected horsepower/torque etc?

I havent gone through a tank yet, but i'll post my results when i get them. I have a feeling both the RA and the X are really rich from the factory. If the Evo can gain 100+hp with no fuel modifications and gets 17/22 im sure the RA can squeak out more power and better then 17/25.

Check out the TTP thread in the Evo X tuning forum.

They have 70 odd pages describing the benefits of the Zchip from its inception.

I actually just made my way over there and looked at about 15 pages, but the one thing that seems to be missing is any information regaruding a Zchip used on the MR. Plus since the RA has a different turbo/IC set up, I would assume (I am not a tuner so I don't know for sure) that the gains would be minimal or at least different compared to the X GSR. I also didn't see anything regarding MPG.
