can anyone advise me if possible to replace my 08 lancer's front bumper with ralliart front bumper?

but yes it will fit because they are the same body, whereas the evo X is actually a widebody...

so the answer to your question is yes..

Why do you want to go that route as opposed to an aftermarket? That's going to be a pricey bumper.

I would guess at build quality. I know I would take urethane over frp any day. Extra pennies are worth the reliablity vs chipping the heck out of it.

Can any new RA owner tell me if the headlights are the same as a GTS?

I believe the Headlights are the same as the GTS--Unless of course you went with the Recaro package which comes with the HID projectors

Why is thread even here? -- all 2009 Lancer Ralliarts obviously come with Ralliart front bumpers, so this thread shouldn't be in this forum, assuming there isn't anyone out there trying to fit a Ralliart with a GTS bumper (!?)

what about vise versa, make the ralliart look like a sleeper with a DE model front bumper, lol

Darn, I won't be able to take advantage of those choice DE parts, given that they don't come in orange -- then again, mismatched colour parts would make for a real sleeper

Seriously, though, the Ralliart (even in orange) doesn't look anywhere near fancy enough to need any toning down... which is why my snow tires are on alloy wheels and not steel wheels (almost scary popular here to put crappy steel wheels on perfectly nice cars for the Winter -- you haven't seen a real lack of style until you've seen an almost-new RX8 or 350Z with rusty steel wheels on it).

so the local dealership is saying that it is $550 for the RA bumper and it does not come painted.. anyone hearing different? $550 for a Painted bumper and maybe.. but having to paint it on top of that.. I will just mod my bumper and call it good..

i wouldn't spend the money.

Nice.. this coming from the guy who spent 30 grand to upgrade his GTS to a Ralliart..

For those who don't think that is the best way and want a little better style than was offered 2 years ago, Why not put the Nicer looking front and rear bumper on the slower fwd car and look better? jRox, you Know it looks better.
