+1. m/t is a blast, but I honestly don't miss it...if I'm feeling spirited I'll throw it in manual shift, sport mode, and it'll shift way fast than I can ever shift - so no complaints from me

I would also like launch control, but I"m aware its gonna strain the transmission.
I would've liked to see different rims on the car as opposed to the GTS ones
My Ralliart also came with heated mirrors and a sunroof -- also came with heated leather-alcantara Recaros. It's the Canadian premium package. If it's any consolation to those without, the rear-view mirror doesn't seem to be heated (only the side mirrors).

The one feature I'd like to see: a windshield-washer fluid-level gauge -- really need one of those for long winter highway drives.

Also, why isn't the display more configurable? Couldn't the Nav system be displaying sensor information or something other than just maps and satellite music info? Seems like a waste not to let owners decide to use that excellent display for something more than maps and song titles.

It's because you're a Canadanadian.

Better MPG. I know you can't really expect a whole lot MPG with a good amount of power and AWD--I only get about ~200 a tank. Although it is mostly city driving

heated mirrors definately! kind of a pain wiping them down and it really sucked when I couldnt use the windows- had to keep stopping and wiping.
I dont mind not having a sunroof it would be nice, but it's not a huge deal for me.
Never drove a m/t except for when i test drove the GTS. (this is my first new car and i was driving a 97 Chevy Astro van before hahahaha)

a TPMS system that let's you sync your own sensors. It's crap that I have to have someone do something that could be made simple.

x2. Love the SST, and don't really care to go back to a M/T.

^ probably cause the GTS is a lot lighter than the RA, less weight to slow down = faster stop, or so i'd assume.

Edmunds says braking distance 60-0mph:

2008 Lancer GTS: "At 1,000 miles we recorded a 60-0-mph stopping distance of 125 feet. Over time the brakes bedded in, improving that number to 119 feet by its final test."
Article

2009 Lancer Ralliart: 60-0 mph in 127 ft.
