Best RA price you've seen?

We don't have a sticky "price/deal" thread like the Evo X guys so I have to start a new one.

I'm looking for a black base RA, so far the best deal I've found is 23,949, that's with the $1000 rebate so no MMCA special finance deals.

Anyone found a better one?

The economy sucks so bad I really don't want to get myself into debt on a car that will drop in value like a freakin' rock over the next year but I love the idea of the RA.

I have talked with several dealers I know and they are bleeding about 200k per month right now, so I would think prices will be down for a good 6 months or more. There will be a lot of dealers going belly up by JUNE is things don't pick up. That will condense the inventory even more, making it an even bigger buyers market.

I'm hoping for 20-22k. I had a Saab 9-2x, and when they were new they stickered at 26k and sold with GM rebates at 20k. So that's what i'm gunning for, a freakin' steal.

Ah, I tried calling them but got "This number doesn't take calls from you area code." So I called Daytona Mitsubishi and they told me $23,942+ tax, title, liscence. Oh, for a base Ralliart. This is considering my credit is almost non-existent, 21 and only have a credit-card I never use. Also told me that t,t,l would all be in Louisiana, so I wouldn't have to pay taxes when it got here. (Not sure how he would do that but ). I tried Don Herring Mitsubishi as well but they were a little too high. They called me back, while I was in the middle of something a few hours ago, and I told them to call me back but the guy wanted to make a better "deal" and put me in their "VIP" program. I'll find out what that's about shortly.

Best I got offered was $26k OTD from Cherry Hill Mitsubishi in Jersey, for a base Ralliart.

98gsx,

What was the interest rate? I've seen plenty of people with lousy credit get offered all sorts of vehicles, but usually with interest well over 10%.

That's not bad, but i paid $26k OTD back in October, so i'm thinking you could bring them down a couple hundred or so.
