Ultimate -racing Dp ordered

hey guys i just ordered the DP from ultimate racing, I'm also thinking about getting the whole exhaust. It looks sweet in my opinion and i didnt realize how small the tips on the RA looks until i was behind one lol. The only thing im worried about is the sound, i dont want it too crazy, but i do want it to sound sweet and from what i have heard (youtube) this is the best choice. has anyone else installed an exhaust? what do you guys think, resonator or mini muffler?

Next upgrade...FMIC.. yes no?

I would get the mini muffler to keep it down a little. As for the FMIC, go for it.

I havent but i'm thinking with their hardpipes, FMIC, turboback, intake, some increased boost and a tune we'll break the 300whp barrier. I mean hell they already are pushing 262whp 269wtq with just an exhaust, FMIC, and intake. Some of these other tuners are picking up 25whp from a tune alone.

i bought the IC piping from Ultimate. Buying the downpipe from CP-E cause they have the bun on there downpipe. Supposedly the ultimate one u have to take the bun for the o2 sensor off the stock downpipe. thats why im goin with CP-E

A good portion of the guys in this thread already have or are planning on it, sometimes your wisdom is not universally appreciated.

Well considering people are talking about doing other mods before getting a tune, my wisdom is needed.

This isn't true.

Our downpipe is a complete bolt-on with bung included. We have options for an additional bung for a wideband sensor though. I'm not sure where you heard that from.

There are no risks of getting a CEL with our downpipe (unless you damage the sensor during installation). CEL's are common when dealing with the secondary o2 sensor in the catalytic converter. All of our cat replacement pipes have a remedy for this

All of the products we've released so far have been dyno and street tested and are safe to run without a tune.
