UR Short Ram Intake installed

I just got my Ultimate Racing (UR) SRI and Performance Muffler today, only took 3 days. Being a rainy night I installed the SRI. I took it for a quick test run and you can hear alittle more suction on acceleration. Sounds pretty cool. Can't wait to install the Muffler, but going to hold on for a month so I can order the DP along with Test pipe.

Cheers, UR.

U should look into tuning ur car since you added an intake. I've heard the Evo guys have problems with installing intakes and not tuning the car. Think they said it makes it run lean, I don't know so don't quote me on that part lol.

Tight car nonetheless

Yep, just as lancerdave indicated it does bolt directly to stock. I'm just waiting til the weather gets better to put it on.

thanks gibby and dave.

i like the look of the UR muffler.

i think that may be my "exhaust starting point" too.

is there any way you could weigh the muffler before you put it on ?

one of my priorities in getting rid of the stock muffler .....
..... is to eliminate as much dead weight as possible.

thanks

I took a pic of SRI and I haven't install the muffler yet. But you can see UR sends you small pipe to allow you connect to stock. Hope to have muffler installed in acouple days.

is Ultimate Racing the only company that makes SRI for our ralliart right now? how come the pictures on their site (and on your pic) show the air filter box and the stock intake tunnel still there? You wouldn't need those anymore correct?

edit: oh nevermind, i guess the tunnel is still there to provide cooler air to the open element intake...

It sounds pretty good. Especially on acceleration.
HELIART, you are correct the stock tunnel is required for cool air to reach SRI

CP-e is also coming out with SRI that can be to convert it to a CAI with another piece. They are releasing SRI first, adapter piece later.

Our machined MAF housings have been thoroughly tested. We ensure that air/fuel ratios are still in check and very safe.
