Replacing front bumper cover black piece?

Just wondering for those that have removed their front RA bumper, or if anyone knows if its possible to replace the black piece on the front bumper, thats just below the Mitsu symbol? And if its even available?

Does anyone have a detailed service manual yet that would have a schematic picture of the front bumper pieces?

Thanks in advance.

Why, that looks cool? What I need done is painting that chrome lip around the mouth. I think it looks out of place.

I've removed my front bumper before. I don't remember seeing anything that would make it removable. From what I remember, I'm pretty sure it's part of the bumper.

The reason I need to replace mine is cause the dealer drilled the 2 pilot holes in the middle when I told them to mount the plate on the side (on contract!!) so now they've agreed to swap out the entire bumper for another one...when they get another silver RA in. Dunno how long that might be. The drilling job isn’t very clean also! If the black portion of the bumper cover is replaceable then I don’t mind them replacing that instead of waiting.

The Evo snout on the RA looks really good, where did you order it from, Mitsu?

Thx.

on the 09 RA the "nose piece" is all one prt except for......

...the chrome ring , the chrome mitsu badge , the upper and lower mesh grills.

the nose is molded black "plastic" so.....

.......the black center part is just not painted car color.

Yeah that chrome ring looks better painted, thinking flat black though.
